Joel Killion

Joel focuses on the software and consumer sectors. Mr. Killion has 17 years of private equity investment experience. Prior to NexPhase, Mr. Killion was a Partner at MCP. Previously, Mr. Killion was with Sun Capital Partners where he worked in both the U.S. and London. Prior to joining Sun Capital, he was with Catterton Partners. He also worked for Lehman Brothers and Legg Mason early in his career. Mr. Killion holds a B.S. in Economics from Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Brandt Information Services, InsideRE, Flexible Architecture and Simplified Technology, (FAST), Insurance Technologies, and Zing Zang, and previously served on the board of directors of Dr. Fresh, Uintah Engineering & Land Surveying, SwipeClock, Kinsale Capital Group, and Joerns Recovercare.
