Kevin Bennett

Kevin Bennett is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and business leader with a track record of building and scaling successful fintech and proptech companies. As the founding CEO of Caribou (formerly MotoRefi), he transformed the auto finance industry, leading the company to unicorn status, refinancing over $2 billion in auto loans, and saving consumers more than $130 million. Prior to Caribou, he co-founded Homezen, a platform designed to simplify the home-selling process. Most recently, he co-founded Further, a fintech/proptech AI startup focused on empowering first-time homebuyers with smarter financial planning tools. Beyond his leadership roles, Bennett is an active investor and advisor in early-stage startups, leveraging his expertise in fintech, marketplaces, and consumer finance. Before entering the startup world, he built a foundation in public service and policy. A graduate of Brown University, he served as a policy aide and chief speechwriter for then-Governor Mark Warner of Virginia. He later earned a law degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
