Rob is an established international venture capital investor and the Founder of the Mixing Bowl Hub and Better Food Ventures. He is leveraging his experience in mobile, internet and telecom investing to pursue the application of IT to the food and agriculture sectors. The Mixing Bowl Hub is a forum to link food, agriculture and IT innovators. Better Food Ventures makes seed-stage investments that harness the power of information and communications technology to improve food and agriculture. Rob has worked at Swisscom Ventures, SK Telecom Ventures, Nokia Growth Partners, and Nokia Venture Partners (now BlueRun Ventures). Prior to working in VC, he worked at DIRECTV in LA and the Center for Strategic & International Studies. He co-founded the Service Provider Investment Forum (now part of the Telecom Council of Silicon Valley) and started the Corporate Innovators Huddle and its Corporate Venture Forum. He also sits on the board of engaged philanthropy group Full Circle Fund and the non-profit Kitchen Table Advisors. He holds a M.A. from George Mason University and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
