Nils Holum

Nils Holum joined Rockwood in 2017. He is involved in all aspects of the firm’s operations, including transaction sourcing, due diligence, and execution. He is also active in ongoing portfolio management, including the Rockwood Business System implementation. He serves (and has served) as a director of multiple Rockwood portfolio companies. Before joining Rockwood, Nils was a vice president at Behrman Capital, a middle-market private equity firm in New York focused on transactions within the healthcare, specialty manufacturing/distribution, and defense segments. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker at both Merrill Lynch and Union Square Advisors, focusing on technology mergers and acquisitions. Nils holds BA degrees in mathematics and philosophy, with a minor in Mandarin, from the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of Rockwood, he serves as a director for the Aurora Mental Health Center, a non-profit clinic focused on providing mental health services within the greater Denver area. He has previously volunteered at the Colorado HealthOp, a cooperative health insurance company in Colorado, and Mount Sinai Hospital’s emergency room department.
