Mahendra Vora impressive 24-year-plus career spans technology innovation, Internet search and discovery, entrepreneurship, and community and global involvement. Funder and MD at Vora Ventures, one of the largest group of IT companies in the Midwest, Vora is known to possess the Midas touch, proven by his 100% track record of success: delivering between 5% and 247% IRR to all of his investors to-date, across all of his IT ventures. Vora also is the creator of the Vora Technology Park in Hamilton, Ohio, which serves as both an incubator for start-up companies and as a home to established technology companies. Throughout this career, Vora has invested in and led many high-tech companies, including serving as Chairman and CEO of Intelliseek Inc., (sold to BuzzMetrics Inc. and then to The Nielsen Company), co-founder of SecureIT (acquired by Verisign), Chairman and CEO at Pioneer Systems (acquired by Unisys), Vice President and General Manager of the Unisys NT Software Business, and Vice President of Development for Intercomputer Communication Corp. (ICC) and Digital Communication Associates (now Attachmate). In 2001, he was named "Entrepreneur of the Year" by the Association for Corporate Growth. A native of India, Vora served as an honorary foreign IT advisor to the Chief Minister and IT Minister for the State of Gujarat (1999), and is active on many advisory boards and as a specialized lecturer on business, entrepreneurship, real life transactions, venture creation and other business topics at MBA programs at the University of Cincinnati, Xavier University and Northern Kentucky University. He is a member of the Board of Directors at the Cincinnati Regional Chamber, and the Citizens Advisory Council of Miami University.
