Gerald Hughes

Gerald Hughes was an Operating Partner at Castanea Partners. Gerald Hughes served as the Chief Administrative Officer and Executive Vice President of School Specialty Inc. from April 2, 2012 to March 31, 2013. He served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Houghton Mifflin Holdings Inc., since August 2002 and HM Publishing Corp. since December 2003. Hughes served as an Attorney in private practice for six years, a Judicial Intern at the Federal District Court in New York City and Personnel Assistant in the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Mr. Hughes has a B.A. from Princeton University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
