Hunt Norment

Hunt Norment leads the IoT Software & Services business within Eaton's Power Components Division. Prior to that, he was responsible for all of the software and services for Eaton's Lighting Division, including the award-winning HALO Home Smart Lighting System. Before joining Eaton, he was the Principal Product Manager for Honeywell's IoT Cloud. Prior to that, he founded and served as a managing partner at Red Sherpa LLC, a boutique strategy and seed investment firm. Before founding Red Sherpa, Norment founded and provided his services as the chief executive officer of Aegea Software. Previously, he was the vice president for marketing and business development at BroadJump. He has also been employed at 2Wire, Verizon, and IBM. Norment holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Stetson University and master’s degree in information systems from Auburn University. He was a two-year letterman for Stetson University's men's tennis team.
