Bill has been the founder of two companies and an advisor, board member and investor in several others. In 2005, Bill co-founded M5 Systems, a successful internet software and technology company based in Alpharetta, GA, which he sold in 2008. M5 Systems provided software services to technology companies including AT&T, Looksmart, and AskJeeves. He also founded Morris Capital Group, Inc., a private investment firm. Through MCG, Bill has financed, invested, and took an operating role in several deals in the Financial Services, Telecom, and Real Estate industries, including Navigator Holdings and Compass Services and Alex + Eliza. Bill applies his experience as a Turnaround/Structured Finance executive to extract value from under performing assets. Bill, a CPA, started his career at ALLTEL in 1991 and previously worked at other companies including Bellsouth and KMC Telecom. He held roles in Accounting and Finance. Bill graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He also attended Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
