Ian Isaacs

Ian Isaacs is Managing Member at Katonah Research LLC. From Sept 2012 to Apr 2015, Mr. Isaacs was a senior partner at Gagnon Securities, a New York-based investment firm, where his duties included providing portfolio analytics and market intelligence to institutional investors. Previously, Mr. Isaacs was a senior partner at Merlin Securities, a San Francisco-based broker dealer from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, Mr. Isaacs was a Senior Vice President with UBS, a Zurich-based investment bank. Previously, Mr. Isaacs was a partner with Hambrecht and Quist, an investment bank based in San Francisco. Mr. Isaacs is currently a director on the boards of Greenlight Re (GLRE), a publicly-owned global reinsurance company, as well as GTux and ZTailors, privately owned businesses engaged in online apparel rentals and mobile tailoring services. Mr. Isaacs graduated from Carleton College in 1977 with a B.A. in Modern History.
