Jim Semick

Jim Semick is founder and board member at ProductPlan, a leading product management software company. For almost 20 years he has guided new software products from concept to market launch. Prior to ProductPlan he was early at AppFolio, helping determine the company’s vertical market strategy and launching the initial products. Previously, Jim validated and wrote the product requirements for GoToMyPC, GoToMeeting, and GoToWebinar. He previously authored several technology books published by Microsoft Press. Jim coaches technology startups, and lectures at UCSB on topics including market validation, finding product-market fit, and business models.
