Sharmil Modi

Sharmil Modi is a Principal at The Baupost Group, a $25BB investment firm, where he has focused on Real Estate distressed debt and equity investments in the United States and Asia since 2007. Prior to joining Baupost, he worked at Grove International Partners, GTCR Golder Rauner, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Company/Capstone, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, and McKinsey & Company. Mr. Modi graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Economics and received an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. He currently resides in Boston.
