Bill Chang

Dr. Bill Chang is the founder and CEO of Yourgene Bioscience. He is responsible for setting the overall strategic plan and providing vision for the company to continue its pace of rapid growth and expansion. After completing his PhD at University of Melbourne, Australia, Dr Chang joined Academia Sinica in 2007 as a research specialist and established the bioinformatics core facility at the Institute of Plant and Microbial Biology. In 2010, Dr Chang established Yourgene Bioscience to provide NGS and bioinformatics services, and he co-founded Sofiva Genomics in 2012 to provide prenatal genetic testing services. He is now also an Honorary Fellow at the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Melbourne. Dr Chang actively present technical results at many international conferences including at The Ion World Tour in Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan.
