Hongbo Lu

Hongbo Lu is an Executive Director on the Asia team. Previously, Hongbo Lu spent more than five years at Piper Jaffray & Co as an equity analyst. She led Piper's China healthcare research team and was instrumental in building the firm's brand in the Asian marketplace. Prior to her Wall Street career, Hongbo Lu spent four years in life science start-up operations and business development at Zyomyx, Inc. Hongbo Lu received a Ph.D. in BioEngineering from the University of Washington, an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S./M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University in China.
