Vasile Tofan

Vasile Tofan is a Partner at Horizon Capital, a growth equity fund with over $800m under management, focusing predominantly on fund’s investments in tech. Prior to joining Horizon Capital, Vasile was a Consultant with Monitor Group and a Senior Manager with Philips in their Corporate Strategy team, both in Amsterdam. Additionally, he was the Founder and CEO of Ovia Health, a healthcare IT company in Boston, which has grown to the #1 medical application in the US App Store. He worked extensively across emerging markets, including Ukraine, Russia, Romania, Moldova, Slovakia and Nigeria. Vasile received an MBA from Harvard Business School, with distinction, and holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degree in Public Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam.otterdam.
