Shukri is a Partner at Initial Capital which he co-founded in 2010 and serves on the boards of several of its portfolio companies. Prior to Initial Capital, Shukri was co-founder, Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Playfish, a leading developer of social games, up to the company's acquisition by Electronic Arts in November 2009. Before Playfish, Shukri was co-founder and Managing Director of Macrospace which merged with Sorrent to become Glu Mobile (NASDAQ:GLUU), a global publisher of mobile games. Previously, he was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Domainia, an Internet services provider, after starting his career at accounting firm Westbury Schotness. He holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the American College, London.
