Eric Eller

Eric Eller, has been named CEO of SameGrain, an early stage mobile social media company. Eric has a long and successful track record working with start-ups and is skilled at intelligently scaling young companies into profitable ventures. “Our growing start-up needed someone with both entrepreneurial and executive experience,” commented SameGrain’s founder, Anne Balduzzi, who helped pioneer online services at AOL and Apple. “Eric’s strong business and technology background, strategic leadership skills, perseverance and history of success will be a huge asset as we expand our company into the evolving social media space.” Prior to joining SameGrain, Eric served as Senior Vice President of Products & Marketing for Millennial Media where he led the launch and growth of the largest mobile advertising network in the U.S. Earlier in his career, he helped launch Advertising.com (later acquired by AOL). While there Eric served in a number of roles starting as the technology chief leading ad serving and optimization development. From this position, he moved to the U.K. to help launch Advertising.com International and later returned to the U.S. to develop and lead sales of industry leading ad delivery, optimization, behavioral targeting and search management solutions. Before his career in digital advertising, Eric was a principal consultant with Syscom, Inc., a Baltimore based technology practice specializing in high-volume workflow and knowledge management solutions, where his clients included Citigroup, Royal Bank of Canada, and Putnam Investments. As a key IBM business partner, he was invited to participate in their RedBooks program, where he co-authored a technical manual on workflow implementation best practices. “It’s not often you find a fresh new business that has the potential to not only disrupt the current social media landscape but also reshape human behavior,” commented Eller. “I’m looking forward to playing a key role in the development of SameGrain and positioning the company for the future.”
