Symon Vegter

Symon joined Advent in 2007. Since then he has been involved in all aspects of investments including origination, execution, management and realisation. He is currently a director of Orionstone and Integrated Packaging Group. Previously, he was a director of Shape Group and was alternate director of SecurePay Holdings. Symon worked at KPMG in M&A and restructuring services, advising corporate and private equity clients on a range of assignments and transactions across a broad range of sectors. He holds a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He is also a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
