David Yang

David Yang is the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer at Pursuit. David first developed his interest in the built environment during his formative years growing up in the semicircular “crescents” of Rego Park, Queens. An architect and designer, he holds a B.Arch from Cornell University and earned a M.Arch at Yale University. David worked for three years in the New York office of Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates designing skyscrapers and large city masterplans before embarking in a career in tech. David worked as a designer on the winning team at NYC Startup Weekend EDU and has won numerous hackathon competitions. Driven by his desire promote design, education, and community in Queens and NYC, David is working on everything from graphics to research to outreach.
