Peter Okoth

Entrepreneur, Lecturer, innovator and a change maker. Prof. Peter Okoth holds a PhD degree in Production Ecology and Natural Resource Management from the world famous Wageningen University and Research Centre in The Netherlands. His knowledge integrates spatial analysis, geographic information science, information technology, statistical analyses, climate modelling, systems engineering, data collection and analysis, simulation modelling, weather data management and transmission, project development and implementation, budget development and implementation. He also has vast knowledge in monitoring and evaluation and programme planning. Prof Okoth is a director in several companies including: Oakfarm Training Institute Rocky Beach Resorts Ltd, Fibrelink Communications Ltd, Newscape Agro Systems Ltd, Zingo Connect Kenya Ltd and C32-PEX Fintech. Dr. Okoth is also an Adjunct Professor at the Strathmore Business School and is in the process of starting the Applied Knowledge and Enterprise School at the Technical University of Kenya. Dr. Okoth is also currently consulting for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, where he is helped in the development of the FAO-Kenya Kenya Country Programming Framework (Four Year Strategic Plan) for FAO-Kenya (2022-2026).
