Dirk Knemeyer

Dirk Knemeyer is a successful serial entrepreneur who has established multi-million dollar technology companies in Palo Alto, CA, the Boston, MA area and most recently in Columbus, OH. Beginning on the account side at a small advertising agency, Dirk evolved into management consulting before moving to the creative side of a digital agency. A senior executive in his 20's, Dirk established his first company, Involution Studios, in Palo Alto, CA. Under his leadership they provided software design services and consulting for almost 200 clients including Apple, Microsoft, Oracle, AstraZeneca, Shutterfly, PayPal and the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama. Dirk's latest company, Facio, Inc., is a start-up in the talent management software space focused on the deep understanding via implementing quantified self philosophies and techniques on the behavioural, psychological and emotional self. He is now certified in four different psychological methods. Since 2003 Dirk has written over 100 industry articles in publications like Business Week, given more than 50 speeches around the world including at TEDx and keynotes in Europe and the United States. Still in his 30s Dirk has participated on 15 different boards, currently serving for an exclusive private school, for a holistic health and wellness center, and for a media company. He graduated in 1998 with a Master of Arts in Popular Culture from the Bowling Green State University.
