Katie Hempenius

Katie Hempenius is a software engineer at Fitbit. She has worked with early-stage startups, consumer goods firms, and a variety of large government clients including the U.S. military on software, infrastructure, and businesses problems. Ms. Hempenius graduated with honors in Systems Engineering from The University of Virginia and concentrations in Electrical/Computer Engineering & Chinese. She currently serves as a lead for San Francisco's Women Who Code.
