Stephen Keighery

Stephen Keighery is a real estate investor, entrepreneur, and operator with a proven track record scaling businesses in both technology and real estate. He is the founder and CEO of Home Buyer Louisiana, one of South Louisiana’s most active cash home buyers, acquiring distressed residential properties across New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. His company has closed over 200 real estate transactions, including wholesale, renovation, and long-term rental projects. Before entering real estate full-time, Keighery was a founding partner and director of hipages Group (ASX: HPG), Australia’s leading home services marketplace. At hipages, he led the national sales strategy and digital marketing operation, signing over 32,000 contractors to the platform and helping generate more than 10 million home service projects nationwide. The company went public on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2020. Keighery relocated to New Orleans in 2018 and applied his experience in marketplaces, direct-to-seller marketing, and lead generation to build a real estate acquisitions company in the U.S. He continues to leverage his background in growth systems, automation, and off-market deal sourcing to scale Home Buyer Louisiana’s acquisitions pipeline. In addition to real estate, Keighery is an active angel investor and startup advisor, working with early-stage founders on sales, marketing, and scalable growth strategies. He regularly speaks at real estate investor meetups, entrepreneurial events, and industry panels, sharing lessons from his journey scaling companies from startup to IPO to multi-market real estate operator.
