Jonathan Hsu

Jonathan Hsu is Co-Founder and General Partner at Tribe Capital where he focuses on recognizing and amplifying early stage product-market fit and being a great partner to great founders. Jonathan was previously a Partner at Social Capital where he pioneered the application of data science to venture capital. Prior to Social Capital Jonathan was at Facebook where he helped form and lead data science and analytics. Prior to Facebook he was in social gaming at Slide which he joined via acquisition of his company SuperPoke and also spent time at Microsoft. Jonathan did his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley in Physics and Math and went on to receive a PhD in physics from Stanford University where he studied cosmological inflation and black holes in string theory.
