Paul Willard

Paul worked as a Senior Aerodynamics engineer at Boeing for 7 years before there were interwebs. He worked on many different types of aircraft including autonomous stealth aircraft. Now Paul is a General Partner at the venture firm Subtraction Capital following a 14 year career as a senior product and marketing executive and CMO at well-known technology, financial services and health tech focused companies Coupons.com, Practice Fusion, Atlasssian, and NextCard. He is passionate about helping entrepreneurs succeed, and applies specific experience with product and marketing professionals that make data-driven decisions, use Agile constructs, and win important markets. This passion helped to ignite the San Francisco Agile Marketing Meetup with over 3,800 members, which he co-hosts. Paul holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University, a Master's degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University, and a Future Med Certificate from Singularity University.
