Bernhard Schmid

Bernhard Schmid began his career in 1994 in Munich first as a analyst, then as an investment manager at Atlas Venture, a global venture capital fund specialized in ICT and life science. Then he worked as a partner at Innotech, a German venture capital company specialized in ICT and renewable energies. In 2004, Bernhard became a partner in charge of Information and Communication Technologies at DVC (Deutsche Venture Capital) in Munich, one of the largest venture capital companies in Germany. There he worked together with Cyril Bertrand. A German national based in Munich, Bernhard joined the XAnge team in 2008, where he manages all operations and investments in the German-speaking countries. Bernhard holds an MBA degree from the Munich Ludwig Maximilian University.
