Loretta McCarthy is co-leader of the New York forum and manages membership activities for Golden Seeds. Prior to Golden Seeds, she was with OppenheimerFunds, Inc., where she was Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer and a member of the Executive Committee. Previously, she was with the American Express Company where she developed and implemented the model for launching the American Express Card into new industries. She serves on the board of directors of Prolitec, Inc., an indoor air quality company. She is actively involved in philanthropic services. For the past six years, she was President of Sanctuary for Families, which provides services to women who are victims of gender violence. She is a board member of Abingdon Theatre Company and New Yorkers for Children, both of New York City. Previously, she served on the board of directors of the Women’s Tennis Association, the governing body of women’s tennis worldwide. Ms. McCarthy holds an MBA from the University of Colorado and a BA in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
