Ashley Bittner is the Managing Partner of Kalos Ventures and an experienced venture investor with a track record of driving innovation across the private and public sectors. She has led or worked on more than $250M in investments, including closing Fund I in 2021 with $72.5M raised across the core fund and four SPVs. Prior to Kalos, she was a Principal at Owl Ventures, where she helped raise and deploy over $600M across multiple funds and served on more than 10 boards. Before entering venture capital, Ashley was appointed by the Obama Administration to the U.S. Department of Education, where she worked on higher education-to-employment initiatives. She also began her career as a Teach for America Corps Member, teaching middle school social studies and English in the Bronx. Ashley earned a MBA from the Wharton School and a MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School. She holds a BA in Political Science and History, with minors in economics and Latin American Studies, from the University of Florida Honors Program. Ashley is a Truman Scholar for the state of Florida (2006).
