Christopher McCleary

Chris founded and served as CEO of Evergreen Assurance, which recently completed a merger with MessageOne, a complementary company in the disaster recovery market. Prior to founding Evergreen, Mr. McCleary was co-founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Executive Committee of USinternetworking, Inc. (USi) and served as CEO until July 2000. Mr. McCleary founded USi to deliver enhanced web-enabled business process functionality to enterprise customers worldwide through a global network of mission-critical Enterprise Data Centers in North America, Europe, and Asia. Mr. McCleary led USi through a very successful initial public offering in April 1999, a short 14 months after inception. Before launching USi, Mr. McCleary was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DIGEX, Incorporated. DIGEX grew from 60 to 600 employees, completed an initial public offering, and merged into Intermedia Communications, Incorporated in less than 20 months with Mr. McCleary as CEO.
