Thorvald Stigsen

Thorvald Stigsen has a background in software development and founded Skygate in 1992 to offer software solutions for the travel sector.With the development of Travel Management solutions and MIS tools he received the European Award in Information Technology for Excellence in converting results from information technology research to innovative products for the marketplace. In 2006 he founded Momondo, a meta-search for flights that has received market recognition for its broad search and coverage.In 2010 Momondo was acquired by Cheapflights Media and Thorvald Stigsen joined the board.
