Mido Desanti

A social entrepreneur and philanthropist, Mido DeSanti left Croatia after the civil war ended in 1995 and became a succesful entrepreneur investing his earnings in IT and Biotech. His pursuit of happiness revolved more around helping others and that led him to start Pixhug, a social media platform that enables everyone with a smartphone to become a philanthropist, by bringing people, charities and corporations together to do good in the world. He has spoken on the importance of social entrepreneurship at McGill University in Montreal and Columbia Business School and sits on the board of Julian Lennon's The White Feather Foundation and is the executive adviser to The Walking School Bus, a Canadian charity removing obstacles to education in rural Uganda.
