Yan, 51yo Swiss born, has earned a Master in Telecommunications and graduated from IMD Business School. In the first stage of his career, he led several large infrastructures projects for market leaders such as: BMW, ICI, AT&T. In 2000, he became CEO of Urbanet, the first European start-up offering high speed Internet over Cable TV. After a successful company growth and integration within UPC Group (member of Liberty Global), Yan build and run UPC'S national B2B customer services organization (Pre-sales, engineering, support, PMO and Billing). For the last 20 years, Yan specialized in transformational leadership roles with country, regional and global scope, has driven innovation, revenue growth and lead major transformations in various industries (Telecommunications, Government, Manufacturing & Logistics, Services, Pharma and Medical devices), such as: - Bringing citizens at the center by driving the Digitalisation of a Swiss government, - Drove the transformations of: global shared service centers (up to 500 People) and country based organizations, focusing on people development and quicker time-to-market for solutions, - Lead large M&A projects, from scouting to full integration, accelerating strategy implementation, - Reaching massive cost savings (170 Mio Euro yearly) by carving out large businesses ( up to 100+ countries with 6,000+ employees) and implementing new operating models. - Driving the transformation of a global medical device manufacturer by establishing new business models through innovation and digitalization, with a patients and caregivers centric approach. In his today's role, Yan is heading Innovation & Digital Transformation at Ramboll On the private side, Yan is a proud dad of an 18-years old son; he is a British car enthusiastic and passionate about design and history. His interest for different cultures made him lived in several countries, where he learned English, Germans and Spanish.
