Karpagam Narayanan

Karpagam Narayanan is an entrepreneur and advisor. She is a co-founder of Ascendo, a proactive customer support software for companies with complex support needs for multi-generational products . Ascendo predicts root cause, recommends the most appropriate solution and avoids future problems for customer support teams. Previously Karpagam was a founder and President of Paloras Corporation. The San Francisco Business Times recognized Paloras as a Top 100 software company in 2014 and 2015. Karpagam believes in having people of different attitudes and aptitudes in AI and is a sought out speaker in several AI, IOT and Entrepreneurship conferences. She is now a board member of TiE Silicon Valley, an organization that focuses on advising and mentoring technology startups. She has been a leader, mentor and volunteer for Girl Scouts for the last 14 years, raising awareness of STEM, especially among girls. She started advanced math clubs at elementary schools and was later involved in the Maker Faire, Bay Area Science Festival, FIRST robotics, and Western Regional Robotics programs in the Bay area.
