Ted Elvhage has more than 20 years of experience in the software and technology consulting industries, he is one of the founding partners of the Stockholm Business Angel group in 2008, and the founder and chairman of Keiretsu Forum Nordics, the Nordic chapter of the global business angel network Keiretsu Forum (CA, USA). In 2018 he co-founded the microfund E14 Invest, investing in ventures from Trondheim Norway to Sundsvall Sweden – with a base in the mountains of Åre in north of Sweden. He is also the co-founder and host of the former number one podcast for angel investors and Startups in the Nordics, Investpodden.se. In 2019 Elvhage invested in Pythom Inc, a US - Swedish microlauncher founded by Tina and Tom Sjögren. This marked his start for investing in Space technologies, and in 2021 he founded Rymdkapital togethe with space industry veteran Ulf Palmnäs, the first Venture Capital Firm in the Nordics dedicated to European space technology founders. In 2022, Rymdkapital joined forces with the founder of French Private Equity Firm Audacia, Charles Beigbeder and Starburst co-founder Sandra Budimir to launch Europes largest fund dedicated to New space and New Air mobility, The Expansion Ventures Fund with offices in Sweden and France. Elvhage has a background as an entrepreneur and business executive before becoming a Stockholm Business Angels General Partner. He has extensive experience in sales, negotiations, sales management, team development as well as in coaching and training teams in Europe, China and the US. He has worked in the ranges from small tech companies to global giants such as Mercury and HP. He is an expert in scaling companies in new markets and help designing category winners. At Stockholm Business Angels he has been involved in 25 investments, at E14 invest approximately 10 investments, at Keiretsu Forum Nordics approximately 20 investments - in addition to his private portfolio of approximately 15 early stage ventures. As an example, he was the first investor in Kivra, a Swedish and now also Finnish digital post infrastructure with more than four million end users and several thousand senders from business and government. Here he contributed first as chairman of the board, later as sales director, then business developer leading the acquisition of a competitor and finally for a short period CTO. Today only a passive owner. Elvhage is now resigning from all activites but those associated with The Expansion Ventures Fund, where he hopes to contribute to the sectors ignition and growth from Europe to the Solar system by invesing in and backing European space technology founders from start to full potential.
