As a sophomore at Brown University, I started my first company, Fanium Fantasy Football, graduating early to work as a full-time CEO in 2012. Three years later, I sold Fanium to CBS Interactive. During my time at Fanium, I also began to make my first angel investments. Following the exit, I joined CBSSports as Director of SportsLine, leading the company to successfully re-launch the legacy brand as a sports betting subscription site. The success of my angel investments ultimately led me to leave CBSSports to start Gurtin Ventures with my father in 2017. Between 2017 and 2021, I also began experimenting with several new startup ideas. In 2017, I co-founded Trend and still serve on the board of the company today. In 2019, I led a re-launch of Fanium, participating in the first class of the Techstars Sports Accelerator. I continue to operate as an active investor and board member of several technology startups. Outside of that, I dedicate my days to balancing my personal growth and educating others. The only thing I love more than learning something new is sharing it.
