Alexander Schlaepfer

Alexander Schlaepfer joined Swisscom Ventures in 2016 and focuses on investments in IoT, Big Data and Industrial IT. Before, Alexander was Partner and co-founder at Paris-based VC Aster Capital. Prior to Aster, Alexander headed Strategy, M&A, Sales and Marketing for Alstom’s €5 billion former Power Services business. In 15 years at Alstom and ABB, Alexander closed over 20 M&A deals, built and lead several joint-ventures and new businesses with operational management responsibility. He holds a BA from the University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen and a Masters in Finance (MSc) from London Business School.
