Fredrik Debong

Fredrik is a serial entrepreneur, angel and slowly a VC. Roots in Sweden, living in Austria, background in medical computer science, financial technology and compliance. His focus as a VC and GP of www.1921.vc, his focus lies on diabetes and anything that makes it suck less. His interest as an angel investor lies in medical technology, population health, primarily in diabetes. At his last company, hi.health, he led product and later compliance. The company is an insurtech company, deploying payment cards and payment services integrated with health insurances. Before hi, he also founded mySugr.com, and headed R&D as well as many of the regulatory fields. The company was acquired by Roche in 2017. Before that he also cofounded Pioneers.io (acquired by Startup300 in 2018).
