Nick Maughan

Nick Maughan is a British investor, philanthropist and conservationist. He is the founder of Maughan Capital, an impact investment vehicle centred around Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) projects, and the Nick Maughan Foundation (NMF.org), a charity established to further a range of philanthropic initiatives in education, the environment and civic support schemes for disenfranchised communities. Through his foundation Maughan founded BoxWise, a non-profit social enterprise that works to empower disadvantaged young people through sport. He is also a trustee of Tusk Trust, an anti-poaching charity of which Prince William, The Duke of Cambridge, is a Patron. He is also a director of Forests For Mines Ltd., a company that buys abandoned open cast coal mines, remediates them and plants forests on the land.
