Paul Cocker

Paul began his career within the retail and consumer products division of Deloitte in September 2000 and spent 6 years with Deloitte in both the London and Sydney offices, where he advised a broad range of clients. Paul left Deloitte to pursue a career as a corporate financier, most recently with Strand Hanson, a Mayfair based advisory boutique. Paul has advised on a large number of corporate transactions, both within equity capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. Paul has been a partner in True Capital since its founding and played an operational role in helping to grow ecommerce business, Alexandalexa.com from a start-up into the established global leader in online childrenswear retail. Paul acted as Finance Director of the company following True Capital’s initial investment and was instrumental in establishing the business controls and processes which formed the basis for the company’s rapid growth. Paul currently sits on the board of Broadmargins Limited, a high growth ecommerce retailer and is an adviser to numerous other ecommerce businesses.
