Chief Executive Officer and President of SunGard, a leading software and technology services company (2011-present); Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AonHewitt, a global provider of human resources consulting and outsourcing solutions (2010-2011); Chief Executive Officer of Hewitt Associates (2006-2010); President and Chief Executive Officer of The BISYS Group, Inc., a provider of outsourcing solutions for the financial services sector (2004-2006). With a 20-year career running some of the country’s leading services business, Mr. Fradin is in an ideal position to offer Best Buy’s executive team insight into the company’s efforts to rejuvenate its Geek Squad services business. At the same time, Russell Fradin former role leading Hewitt Consulting and, ultimately, Aon Hewitt brings to the Best Buy Board of Directors a high degree of expertise regarding the Company’s Renew Blue transformation efforts, particularly those related to streamlining operations, reducing expenses and executive compensation and retention. Earlier in his career, Russell Fradin ran the Global Employer Services business of Automatic Data Processing, Inc., where he nearly doubled revenues, significantly improved margins and diversified that business’s operations. He began his professional career at McKinsey and Company where, over 18 years, he rose to become a senior partner, specializing in offering Fortune 500 clients advice on new product and services innovations.
