Henrik Jones is the Founder of Buckhill Capital, which he established in 1999 to make alternative investments. Buckhill focuses on companies that promote resource efficiency, educate people for work, and build resilient communities, with a current emphasis on supply chain management in the consumer products sector and online platforms that provide consideration for user data. Prior to founding Buckhill Capital, Jones founded and managed the Real Assets Portfolio at Hall Capital Partners, growing it to $1.3 billion during his tenure. He has played key roles in launching several startups, including Answers.com (Co-Founder and CEO), BBrooks Fine Flowers (CEO), and InterMedia Partners (Partner). Jones began his career at JP Morgan in 1984, where he helped form the Media and Entertainment Corporate Finance Group. Jones serves on the boards of Edible Schoolyard Project and Human Needs Project, and is a Partner at Gratitude Railroad. He has also been on the boards of SFFILM, Higg Co and Leadership Public Schools and has served on the investment committees of Marin Country Day School and Gateway High School. Jones received a BA from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
