Shahab Shabibi

Shahab is the Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Machine Ventures, a venture builder founded in 2015 that prides itself in “Transforming Ideas into Companies”. Native to the internet and with over 15 years of experience building tech startups, Shahab is on a mission to create 1 million jobs. That's why in 2017 he started mykuya.com, an app that delivers convenient & reliable access to services for Filipinos. Prior to that, Shahab also founded HeyKuya, an SMS-Based Personal Assistant Service that was acquired by Kata.ai just 6 months after its launch, making it the fastest technology acquisition event in the country. He has been among the founding team of 7 companies & has launched 15+ internet businesses. After starting his first venture in the music industry by the age of 13, he moved into sports by being part of the team that started Tarafdari.com, Iran's #1 Sports News & Social Media site with 10 million monthly visitors. Shortly before graduating from Mapúa University & getting his degree in Business Administration, Shahab joined Rocket Internet to launch Tripda, a carpooling app in the Philippines. Shahab is a Forbes Under 30 and a Tatler Gen.T Awardee. He is a Global Shaper alumni, an initiative of World Economic Forum.
