Eric Goldman

Eric Goldman is an Associate Professor of Law at Santa Clara University School of Law. He is also a director of the school’s High Tech Law Institute. Goldman’s research and teaching is focused on internet, intellectual property, and marketing law. Before becoming a full-time law professor, he practiced law for 8 years, first as a technology transactions attorney at Cooley Godward LLP and then as a general counsellor at Epinions.com, an internet startup. Prior to Santa Clara, Goldman was an assistant professor at Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has also taught as an adjunct professor at UC Berkeley Law School and the University of San Francisco Law School. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles.
