Avi Kerendian is the Health Regulatory Associate (Pending Bar Admission) of Hall Render. He attended Hebron Yeshiva, the University of Houston Law Center, and Yeshiva University. GGHTx is a global health non-profit. GGHTx brings together young volunteers. These are missions to change lives through the power of global health. Together, GGHTx aids in intensive, week-long mission trips. In places like Latin America and Uganda. GGHTx fosters self-sufficiency. Avi Kerendian, co-founder of GGHTx, actively partners with local NGOs and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs). Avi Kerendian is passionate about contributing to the progress of global health, telehealth, and healthcare reform. Also, collaborating with others who are dedicated to making a difference. As co-founder of GGHTx, Avi Kerendian selected and help lead 45+ volunteers. These were five, week-long mission trips. Avi coordinated all logistical details from orientation to the setting up of medical sites. While there, Avi built alliances with locals. He fundraised and developed initiatives promoting health education. To date, GGHTx has delivered medical and dental relief to some 1,000 patients. 70% of whom are women and children. Avi Kerendian graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Biology. Avi also participated at the prestigious Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). He was an NE cancer-research intern. This was in the Molecular & Pharmacology Dept. Under the auspices of physician-scientist, Dr. Blasberg MD. At the "Ronald Blasberg Lab," Avi trained in multiple research-related specialties. He used his skills to actively contribute towards two research projects. These projects aimed to reverse the progression of tumors. In glioblastoma and breast cancer for terminal cancer patients. Avi discovered that he had a great passion for helping serve others. Avi decided to help put his time and energy into helping create GGHTx to the global health success it is today. Avi Kerendian is fluent in English, Hebrew, Persian. And conversational in Spanish.
