Eli Verschleiser is a Principal in the Verschleiser Family Office (VFO) which exists to enhance the financial and philanthropic interests of the Verschleiser family. Eli invests the family’s capital in opportunities with exceptional management teams and with the potential to create substantial long-term value. Mr. Verschleiser is a seasoned entrepreneur with a distinguished career in real estate investment and development. He leads a private real estate fund and investment banking firm, overseeing more than $10 billion in transactions. His career includes being the founder and President of a Public REIT, and has been a lead investor in numerous startups, and operating companies. Through his companies Mr. Verschleiser has participated in $10+ billion of real estate transactions, including over two million square feet of office buildings, hundreds of apartments, and many condominium projects. In his Philanthropy, Eli has made a profound impact in the mental health sector. He is the Chairman and Co-Founder of Our Place in NY Inc., a nonprofit organization established in 1998 to support individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction. Eli is a board member of the American Jewish Congress, Magenu.org and numerous non-profit organizations in social services. In addition Mr. Verschleiser is a frequent commentator on political and social services matters.
