Hiren Majmudar

Hiren Majmudar is Vice President of Intel Capital and the Managing Director of Intel Capital’s Platform Engineering Sector (PEG). Hiren leads a cross-functional team that drives strategic transactions ranging from Licensing, Equity Investments, M&A, and other external partnerships in the area of Semiconductor IP (Intellectual Properties) that help PEG to create market leading SOCs. Hiren has led a team that has identified unique technology partners for Intel and has built ecosystem partnership with 50+ IP companies to support Intel’s SOC development and launch efforts for Servers, Client, Mobile, IOT and Wearable markets. His team has also driven investments, licensing, and M & A projects over the years. For the past 20+ years, Hiren has held various engineering and business leadership roles in CPU Design, EDA, Software Development Tools, SOC Engineering, Technical Marketing, Licensing, and M&A. Hiren holds Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from State University of New York at Stony Brook and Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from M.S. University of Baroda, India. Outside of work, Hiren is an avid Robotics coach and sits on the board of FIRST in Texas (http://firstintexas.org/) to drive robotics education in the state of Texas. He loves to travel around the world with his family.
