Michael Dean

Michael Dean joined HarbourVest in 2014 as a principal and focuses on real assets investments, including energy, infrastructure, real estate, and other natural resources. Michael joined the Firm from Meketa Investment Group, where he served as the Head of Real Assets investing across the natural resources, infrastructure, and real estate sectors. His responsibilities included development of investment strategy and sourcing, evaluating, and executing fund and co-investment opportunities. Prior to that, he was Director of Investments at real estate investment firm Ithecus Capital Group. Michael received a BBA from Baylor University in 1998 and speaks conversational Spanish.
