Tracy D. Gray is a Founder and Managing Partner at The 22 Fund. Tracy previously worked at Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator as a Executive in Residence. He attended Columbia Business School and the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Tracy D. Gray, Founder and Managing Partner, has international strategy domain expertise and over 20 years of experience assisting organizations in a variety of industries reach their goals. Tracy Gray is also an Executive-in-Residence at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator and was named a 2015 “Women of Influence” in Los Angeles by bizwomen. Prior to starting The 22, Tracy Gray was the Senior Advisor of International Business and Marketing for Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. For the Mayor, she led strategies and initiatives to assist SMEs grow their businesses through international sales. Additionally, while in the Mayor’s Office, Tracy Gray launched the Los Angeles Regional Export Council and led SMEs on trade missions and to trade shows in Asia and Latin America. She was also Senior Advisor to the Mayor’s Small Business Office. Tracy Gray was previously Managing Director at Collaborative Equity Partners (CEP), a venture catalyst consulting firm where she raised over $30 million in equity capital. She was also an investment professional at Zone Ventures, an L.A. based Draper Fisher Jurvetson venture capital firm where her first investment decision, DivX, had a market capitalization of $435M at IPO and was Zone’s only company to go public. In addition, she served as a board observer for five Zone portfolio companies where she helped with growth and marketing strategies. Additionally, Tracy Gray worked at the Los Angeles Alliance for the New Economy, an economic development non-profit and for a contractor on the NASA Space Shuttle program as a systems engineer/mission monitor. She is currently on the advisory board of Exergy Systems Inc. and the board of directors for Isidore Electronics Recycling. In 2015, Tracy Gray gave a TEDx Talk entitled “Why It's Time For Women To Be Sexist With Investment Capital.” Due to the response from her TEDx Talk, Tracy Gray founded We Are Enough. We Are Enough’s mission is to increase the flow of capital to women entrepreneurs by educating women on how and why to invest in women-owned, for profit businesses. Tracy Gray serves and has served on several non-profit boards of directors and advisory boards, including Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Make it in LA, Cal State Dominguez Hills Philanthropic Foundation, Urban Manufacturing Alliance, CHINAWEEK, the Los Angeles Regional Export Council, Southern California Chapter of the National Association of Securities Professionals, Center for International Business Education and Research – University of Southern California and Women in International Trade LA. Tracy Gray received her BS in Mathematical Science, Aeronautics emphasis from the University of California at Santa Barbara and dual MBAs from Columbia University and the University of California at Berkeley
