Ron Heinz

Ron is a founding managing director of Signal Peak Ventures and has extensive experience as an operating Executive. Prior to Signal Peak, Ron was a managing director at Canopy Ventures and previously serving as the CEO of Phobos Corporation (acquired by SonicWall NASDAQ:SNWL) and Helius Corporation (acquired by Hughes Network Systems), as well as a Senior Vice President at Novell, Inc where he spent 12 years. With over three decades in the information technology market, Ron spends significant time working with portfolio companies in driving commercialization efforts. He holds a B.S. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, an MBA from American University and completed post graduate studies in Public Policy at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
