Sia Houchangnia

Sia is a Partner at Seedcamp, where we team up with Europe’s most exceptional tech founders from Day One. We are the first investors in more than 500 companies, including some of Europe’s most successful startups like UiPath, Wise, Revolut, Synthesia, Sorare, and Pleo. Sia joined Seedcamp in 2014 as an intern and now co-leads its investment team, ensuring we maintain the best sourcing engine to find Europe’s top founders first and support them through the ups and downs of their journey. Sia has a pan-European background, growing up in Switzerland and studying in the UK and Spain. He started his career at EY and UBS while also exploring a few entrepreneurial ventures, which had modest outcomes but further fueled his admiration for founders who beat the odds. At Seedcamp, early exposure to generational founders from Revolut, UiPath, and Pleo shaped his approach to venture—backing teams with relentless drive who iterate quickly and learn continuously. With interests spanning fintech, open source, crypto, and data-driven businesses, Sia has a deep appreciation for Europe and believes it’s home to some of the most technically gifted founders of our time.
