Frank Kelcz is a Venture Partner at DN Capital since July 2, 2014. Frank works with the firm's international portfolio of companies to expand into the US markets as well as finding companies with the ability to expand to Europe. Before joining DN Capital as a Venture Partner he consulted for the UK Government’s Department of Trade & Investment finding and persuading US based Venture investors to invest in UK tech companies. As former Head of Media Technology Investing at SEB Venture Capital in London he vetted hundreds of companies invested in a half dozen and was an active board member in four. At Ziff-Davis, the world’s largest technology media company, Frank was responsible for launching all European media products including PC Magazine, PC Direct, ZD Net and their country-specific off-shoots. Prior to this, as Deputy Director, International, at Bertelsmann’s Gruner & Jahr, Frank reported to the Chairman and headed up the creation, development and launch of their first titles targeting the US Hispanic population. These were profitable from launch. Frank’s first start-up was in his 20s; a series of multi-lingual magazines, ACE Electronics Publications. These represented the first efforts to create truly international publications translated and adapted to local markets while providing a consistent look and feel across markets. These publications reached 17 markets. Frank is a dual national (USA & UK). grew up in New York City speaks English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Frank loves skiing, cycling, great food and jazz. Frank earned a B.A. in Economics from Bowdoin College in Maine, and pursued MBA studies at New York University before leaving to launch a magazine in Italy. Frank is fluent in English, French and Italian, and is conversant in German and Spanish.
